David Raphet studied at the Émile Cohl school in Lyon and is a scriptwriter and illustrator. He is the creator behind the series Les délices d’Aphrodite and illustrator of the first volume of Les Gladiateurs (script by Pascal Brossier, both published by Bac@BD). He lives in a small village in the Isère department of France with his partner Lucile Thibaudier, also a comics illustrator, and their two cats. The first volume of his series Monster Delights was published in 2020 by Le Lombard, published the same year in English by Europe Comics, and followed by the second volume in 2021.
