The 2025 2nd International Conference on Urban Planning and Design (UPD 2025) will be held from April 25 - 27, 2025 in Nanjing, China. The conference aims to provide a platform for scholars, professionals and policy makers in the field of urban planning and design around the world to exchange and collaborate in order to address the many challenges facing urban development today.
As urbanization accelerates, the need for sustainable development, infrastructure optimization, and the creation of livable environments is increasing, and UPD 2025 will focus on these core themes, including green space planning, transportation network design, smart city technology applications, and the preservation of historic buildings.
Renowned experts and scholars from around the world will be invited to share their latest research results and best practice cases through keynote speeches, oral presentations and paper presentations. In addition, participants will have the opportunity to learn more about Nanjing, a city with deep historical heritage and modern vitality, and observe its innovative initiatives in urban planning and design.
